This sword may look just like a hunting sword from the beginning of the 19th century, but it has an altogether different meaning from an historical point of view. It is actually one of the very few swords which were part of the Uniform of the "Blesses de Septembre" who were viewed as heroes of the Belgian Revolution. They wore this sword as a side arm as of 1832.
